EU-GMP Part 1

Manufacture of medicinal products

Holder: SafriCanna, Centurion site

Certification against Part 1 of the EU Guidelines to Good Manufacturing Practice for medicinal products for human use — the standard applied to finished medicines, not to agricultural produce.

Holder: Centurion site

The site is listed as a manufacturing site in the European regulatory framework, which is what allows an EU importer's qualified person to rely on it in their own release decision.

SAHPRA licences

Holder: SafriCanna

Licensing by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority under the Medicines and Related Substances Act, maintained in good standing with periodic inspection.

GACP

Good Agricultural and Collection Practice

Holder: Cultivation operation

Applies documented control to the growing phase — seed and plant provenance, inputs, water, personnel hygiene and harvest handling — so that the active raw material entering GMP manufacture is itself controlled.

CUMCS

Certification for medical cannabis

Holder: SafriCanna

Sector-specific certification covering cultivation and processing of cannabis for medical use, aligned to GACP and GMP expectations.

GDP

Good Distribution Practice

Holder: Outbound logistics

Applied to storage and transport so that temperature, security and chain of custody are maintained and documented from release to the receiving licence holder.

Current certificates, licence numbers and inspection dates are provided to licensed counterparties on request through the enquiry channel. They are not published, because certificate scope changes and a stale published copy is a compliance risk in itself.

Independent quality unit: Quality is structurally independent of production and holds sole release authority.
Qualified-person review: Every batch record is reviewed and dispositioned before dispatch.
Controlled documentation: Versioned procedures, records and specifications under formal document control.
Deviation and CAPA: Deviations are logged, investigated, and closed with corrective and preventive action.
Change control: No validated process, area, system or supplier changes without assessed, approved change control.
Supplier qualification: Inputs and service providers are qualified and periodically re-assessed.
Self-inspection: A scheduled internal audit programme tests the system between external inspections.
Audit readiness: Documentation is maintained for regulator, customer and change-of-control audit at any time.

Every certification claim states its scope and holder, and must be substantiated by a current certificate.
