Controlled propagation
Production begins from maintained mother stock held under controlled conditions, with documented identity and lineage for every plant that enters a batch. Nothing enters the flow without a record.
Centurion site · Pretoria, Gauteng
One site. One standard. Every step from mother stock to sealed pallet takes place inside a controlled, documented pharmaceutical process under EU-GMP Part 1 certification.
Site location · Knoppieslaagte, Centurion
The site sits on the Knoppieslaagte smallholdings between the R114 and the R55, minutes from the N14 and the N1 Ben Schoeman, with direct freeway access to OR Tambo International for air freight. The satellite view below shows the site and its surroundings.
Process flow
01
Production begins from maintained mother stock held under controlled conditions, with documented identity and lineage for every plant that enters a batch. Nothing enters the flow without a record.
02
Cultivation runs in a sealed, positive-pressure hybrid greenhouse envelope. Natural highveld light provides the photosynthetic load; screens, climate control and fertigation control the rest. Setpoints, alarms and excursions are logged continuously.
03
Entry is through air-locks with gowning and shower protocol. Personnel, material and waste flows are separated by design so cross-contamination is prevented structurally rather than procedurally.
04
Harvest moves directly into dedicated, environmentally controlled drying and curing rooms with monitored temperature, humidity and airflow. Drying curves are recorded per batch.
05
Post-harvest finishing is performed by hand in a cleanroom environment. Mechanical trimming shears resin glands and drives off volatile terpenes; hand finishing preserves the intact structure that the specification depends on.
06
Batches are sampled and tested against specification for identity, potency, microbiological limits, residual solvents where applicable, pesticide residues and heavy metals, with retained reference samples.
07
Primary and secondary packing take place in classified areas under reconciled, serialised control, with line clearance and in-process checks documented before and after every run.
08
No batch leaves the site until the batch record is reviewed and released. Dispatch is under GDP conditions with monitored transport and a documented chain of custody to the receiving licence holder.

Governance
The quality function is independent of production and cannot be overruled by commercial pressure. Release decisions sit with quality alone. Deviations are recorded, investigated and closed with documented corrective and preventive action, and change control governs every modification to a validated process, area or system.
Compliance leadership is held by Melanie Bertus, Head of Compliance, working with the qualified-person function on batch review and release. Site operations are directed by David Stoltz, CFO and South African Plant Director.
